A wonderful recognition for Flourish

I am very pleased that my work was selected as an Editors' Pick in the October 2024 Open Call Awards.

It was honored alongside eleven other photographic submissions that, while not making it into the final jury selection, were particularly highlighted for their creative strength and photographic quality.

The works were selected by Fiona Shields, Head of Photography at The Guardian. This recognition means a great deal to me, especially for that reason.

It is wonderful and encouraging to be part of such a strong and diverse field with my work — spanning portraiture, landscape, conceptual photography, and very personal artistic positions.

For me, this selection is a quiet but important moment of affirmation. A sign that the gentle, meditative visual language of Flourish is also perceived beyond my own perspective.
